Biography

Ramón Inglés Capella was born in Bétera (Valencia) on 5 May 1932 and died in the same town on 3 May 1997. A sculptor and ceramicist trained in Manises, Valencia and the Manufacture de Sèvres, he founded the Porcelanas Inglés factory in 1970. Josefina "Fina" Inglés Capella

A painter trained at the Valencia School of Fine Arts, with a Casa de Velázquez scholarship in Paris that brought her into contact with the European porcelain doll tradition. Her contribution was decisive in her brother's factory taking the leap into the doll line.
