The Arlequín series is confirmed as the factory's own designation —not a name assigned by this collection— according to Antonio Ten Ros's academic research. Outside the doll line, only a single standalone figure on this theme is known, an Arlequín child made entirely in porcelain; no further examples are known on the collectors' market.
