Three-dimensional digitisation

Ramón Inglés dolls in 3D

This section brings together the dolls in the collection that have been digitised in three dimensions through photogrammetry: dozens of photographs of each piece, taken from measured angles, are combined into a model that can be rotated and examined from any point of view.

The aim is documentary: to preserve the shape, volume and finishes of each piece as it is today, and to allow it to be studied remotely without handling the original.
